What we collect and how we use it

We collect only what our admissions team needs to reply to you, plus how you found us. We do not ask for medical details, we never sell your information, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing connect@haloridgerecovery.com.

What we collect

Through our enquiry form and our intake form, we collect a first name, an email address, an optional phone number, an optional short note, and a set of multiple choice answers: who is reaching out, general location, an age range, a general area of concern, how soon support is needed, program length of interest, budget readiness, whether a program has been attended before, contact preferences, and how you heard about us.

We do not ask for diagnoses, medications, substance amounts, treatment records, dates of birth, or home addresses, and we ask people not to send those details through the form. Our forms are not medical records and are not part of a clinical file.

Why we collect it

Two reasons only. First, so our admissions team can reply to you and have a useful first conversation. Second, so we can count, in aggregate, how people find Halo Ridge and what they are asking for, which helps us decide where to put our time and information.

Who can see it

Only authorised Halo Ridge staff. Submissions are stored in a private, access controlled system and are also sent to our admissions inbox. We do not sell information, and we do not share it for advertising or with third party marketers. We share information with a provider outside Halo Ridge only with your permission, or where we are legally required to act.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. Where you become a client, admissions records are kept under our client records practices instead.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email connect@haloridgerecovery.com or call +1 800-915-4797 and we will action the request. Submitting a form is voluntary, and you can always simply call us instead.

We handle information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and British Columbia privacy expectations. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us first and we will look into it.

Emergencies

Our forms are not monitored as a crisis service. If you or someone you care about is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency services.
