Mike Manhas, Admissions & Client Services Coordinator at Halo Ridge Recovery

Mike Manhas brings more than a decade of experience in mental health, addiction support, recovery navigation, and community advocacy to his role as Admissions & Client Services Coordinator at Halo Ridge Recovery.

Mike holds a Master's Degree in Education and a BA Honours in History and Political Science. Before entering the recovery field, he spent a decade working in education both locally and internationally. His professional path later shifted toward mental health and addiction support, where his work has focused on helping individuals and families navigate treatment, access appropriate resources, and find meaningful pathways into recovery.

Mike is the founder of ReWired Recovery Foundation and the founder of SoberFest Victoria, initiatives built around reducing stigma, strengthening recovery communities, and connecting people with support. His work has also included recovery navigation and case management for individuals and families across British Columbia.

As someone with lived experience of long-term recovery, Mike brings a perspective to Halo Ridge that combines professional knowledge with a genuine understanding of what it can feel like to ask for help and begin again.

At Halo Ridge, Mike is often one of the first points of connection for prospective clients and their families. His role is to help people understand their options, navigate the admissions process, and feel supported from the first conversation through their transition into the Halo Ridge experience.
