These are statements by Halo Ridge Recovery about our own practice. They are not independent verification, and we do not present them as such.
We do not publish success rates
A recovery statistic is only meaningful alongside how outcome was defined, how long people were followed, and who was left out of the count. We do not hold data we could publish honestly, so we publish none.
We do not claim accreditations we do not hold
Where a registration or accreditation applies, we name the body and the number so you can check it. Where it does not yet apply, the page stays silent rather than implying it.
We do not use testimonials
Residents stay with us under conditions of confidentiality. Asking them for marketing copy compromises that, so we do not ask.
We tell you when we are not the right fit
Not everyone who contacts us should be admitted here. Where medical detox, psychiatric support, or a publicly funded route is the better answer, we say so, and where we can we connect you with a third-party provider so support starts sooner.
We put costs in writing
Quotes are itemised and written down before any commitment, including what is not included. No figure appears for the first time on an invoice.
Where does our responsibility end?
We are responsible for the programming we deliver, the safety of the residence, the accuracy of what we publish, and the confidentiality of your information. We are not a crisis service, not a medical detox unit, and not a substitute for emergency medical services. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911.

- Is Halo Ridge Recovery licensed?
- Our licensing and registration details are being finalised and will be published here in full, with the naming body and the registration number, as soon as they are confirmed. We would rather leave this section incomplete than describe it vaguely. Ask our admissions team directly and you will get the current position in writing.
- What funding routes do you accept?
- Halo Ridge is a private program. Confirmed routes are: private pay, family or third-party sponsorship, employer or union support. Insurance and employee assistance program coverage varies by policy; our admissions team will tell you what we can and cannot invoice before you commit.
- Who delivers the program?
- Recovery programming is delivered by qualified practitioners, and the day-to-day running of the property sits with our Operations Manager, Phil Le Vesconte. Practitioner names and designations are published on our team pages as each is confirmed, so you can verify each registration yourself. Halo Ridge Recovery is a private residential recovery program rather than a medical or hospital facility. We do not provide medical care, detox or withdrawal management, prescribing, or diagnosis. Where those services are needed, we can help connect you with a third-party provider so support starts sooner.
- Do you publish medical advice?
- No. Everything on this site is general information about our program and about program in British Columbia. It is not a diagnosis, not a program plan, and not a substitute for advice from a physician or registered practitioner who knows your situation.
- How is confidentiality handled?
- Enquiries are confidential. We do not confirm to any third party that a person has contacted us or is resident with us without that person's consent, other than where law or immediate safety requires it. Records are kept securely and shared only with the resident's consent.
