Leah King is an entrepreneur and operations leader with more than 15 years of experience working within mental health, youth services, complex care, and highly regulated care environments. With a professional foundation as a Child and Youth Worker, she began her career supporting high-acuity individuals in specialized foster care programs, where she developed a deep understanding of the impact that trauma, instability, mental health, and connection can have on a person's life.
Throughout her career, Leah has built and led organisations centred around people, care, and creating environments where individuals can feel safe, supported, and capable of moving forward. She went on to found and scale a successful multi-location organisation, overseeing staffing, operations, compliance, financial performance, and the development of strong, accountable teams.
Today, Leah brings that experience to Halo Ridge Recovery with a clear belief that addiction treatment must see the whole person — not simply the substance they are struggling with. She is passionate about creating a recovery environment that combines meaningful clinical work, structure, connection, holistic healing, and the opportunity for people to rediscover who they are beyond addiction.
As Executive Director, Leah leads the vision and operations of Halo Ridge while remaining deeply involved in the experience of the people who come through its doors. Her leadership is grounded in accountability, compassion, high standards of care, and the belief that recovery should never feel institutional or impersonal.
